ACT mainly provides Dry Flue Gas Desulfurization (DFGD) for sulfur dioxide (SOx)control and multi-pollutant control under the name of Dry Multi Emission Control(D-MEC). This air quality control system (AQCS) has been applied in power, steel, petrochemical, carbon black, glass, waste to energy, cement industries. 


D-MEC system is consisted of a CFB reactor and fabric filter (FF) or Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) downstream. The reagent is typically hydrated lime or carbide slag which reacts with gaseous pollutants like SO2, SO3, HCl,HF and heavy metal. The activated carbon can be injected to the reactor for higher mercury removal efficiency.


The proven advantages of ACT D-MEC system are as below: 

(1)SO2 removal efficiency: up to 99% 

(2) Particulate matters emission: less than 5 mg/Nm3 

(3) Multi-pollutants removal capability: SO3, HCl, HF, NOX, Dioxin and heavy metals

(4) No need for anti-corrosion consideration with high removal efficiency of SO3, HCl, HF at the same time which eliminate acidic corrosion risk

(5)Flexible operation scheme to adapt various upstream conditions (fluctuation of gas volume, temperature, SOx concentration, particle load, etc)

(6) Low space requirement, low water consumption

(7)Proven high availability and reliability

(8)Dry absorbent and by-product, no waste water

(9)No need for flue gas reheating, no color plume
